We put so much focus on our face that it’s easy to forget to treat the neck and chest. Below are the treatments for the neck which will have you on your way to smoother, firmer skin in no time!
Botox Our jawline naturally gets saggy with age. The platysma bands which run from the jawline to the collarbone area, cause necklace lines and lower face sagging. Treating directly into the platysma bands with Botox will relax the muscles from intense contractions and release the downward pull of the lower face. Botox can also be injected superficially into the necklace lines to soften wrinkles. Treating the lower face with Botox in addition to the neck is what creates the popular “Nefertiti lift." Bringing back the definition to your jawline and lower face will help create a youthful and rejuvenated look. Hyperdilute Radiesse As we age the neck becomes crepey as it loses volume. With Hyperdilute Radiesse, we gradually stimulate collagen, therefore creating a tightening in the neck. This helps to improve crepiness, skin laxity and wrinkles revealing a more youthful looking neck. Once Hyperdilute Radiesse is injected, new collagen is stimulated, peaking at 90 days after treatment. We will perform a series of 3 hyperdilute treatments in the same area, spaced about 4-6 weeks apart. Maintenance sessions are then once a year, after the initial treatment series. Neck Cream There are reasons why the neck is one of the first places on the body to show signs of aging. The neck is often overlooked when it comes to sunscreen application. Being exposed to the sun’s harmful rays year after year, causes collagen and elastin breakdown, discoloration and wrinkles. Using a medical grade neck and decollete cream am and pm daily helps to improve the skins elasticity and tone. Be sure to apply an SPF 30 or higher to protect this delicate skin. Laser Laser skin tightening is the tightening of the skin on the face, neck, or body using good old fashioned heat. It's one of the most effective methods for tightening loose, crepey skin. Lasers target energy in the layers of the skin to stimulate that collagen and elastin production which we start to lose as we age. This will gradually improve texture, wrinkles and tone with multiple sessions.
