Over time Sculptra helps the body reproduce lost collagen. The number of injection appointments vary from person to person, depending on how much collagen has been lost. On average, three injection appointments are needed, one session every 4-6 weeks.
A topical numbing will be applied during your treatment and the Sculptra is infused with lidocaine for optimum comfort. The treatment is well tolerated with minimal to no downtime. Sculptra lasts up to 2 years depending, so this is when re-treatment can be expected.
